Tim joined the panel in discussing some of 2016's headline worthy political stands in the sports world. Some of which included Kaepernick's refusal to stand for the national anthem and the U.S. Women's Soccer players fight for equal pay. As for 2017, this trend is predicted to continue as NBA coach Gregg Popovich criticizes the president's policies and multiple Super Bowl Champions plan to skip the traditional trip to the White House.

DePaul's Entertainment and Sports Law Society invites speakers who are industry leaders in the field of sports and entertainment law to lead discussions in an informal setting during the lunch hour. On November 7, 2016, Tim appeared at the University to provide students with inisght as to what a typical day may consist of for an attorney whose work concerns issues related to professional sports and entertainment.

Tim will focus primarily on Insurance/Risk Management related topics. This years' Billboard Touring Conference and Awards will take place on November 9th & 10th at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.
