Tim Epstein Provides Commentary to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin

Tim Epstein, Chair of the firm’s Sports Law Practice Group, provided insight as a knowledgeable resource on sports law to the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin article, “Lawyers Cast Doubts on Suit Against NCAA.” The article, written by Roy Strom, provides the opinions of several respected sports law attorneys on why they doubt the lawsuit will survive a motion to dismiss.

Timothy Epstein will present "Social Media and Intercollegiate Athletics," on November 18, 2011 at the University of Mississippi's Sports Law Review's 2011 Fall Symposium. This symposium aims to explore and identify the legal and practical ramifications of the athletes’ right to expression, the universities’ and NCAA’s right to limit such expression, and the universities’ and NCAA’s right to sell and / or profit off of such expression.

Tim Epstein Lectures at Tulane University

Tim Epstein conducted two separate lectures at Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, LA, on October 23, 2012. As Chair of the firm’s Sports Law practice group, Tim used his substantial sports law experience to provide the audience with a thorough discussion on what current issues face a sports law practice today. Later in the day, Tim gave a lecture on the intersection of tort law with sports from the recreation, to amateur, and professional levels.
