DePaul University hosted their 2014 Spring Symposium on March 7, 2014. Tim Epstein spoke on a panel at the symposium titled "The Business of College Athletics" at the symposium. He elaborated on an article he wrote, "Ruling Over NCAA Could Rock Colleges."
In "Teed off: Caddies take aim at the PGA Tour," Tim Epstein discusses how PGA Tour caddies have filed a class action suit against the tour claiming for injunctive relief and more than $50 million in unpaid compensation.
Tim Epstein will serve a second year as the moderator of "The Impact of Increased Litigation in Sports" panel in the Fourth Annual Sports Symposium presented by the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. The panel will include speakers from FOX Sports, Northwestern Law School, University of Notre Dame, University of Chicago Law School, and Siegel Sports.
