Russell Q. Thirsk counsels and advises clients in the areas of corporate and business law, taxation, and estate and wealth planning. Russ’ practice encompasses a wide variety of domestic and international matters and Russ pays special attention to the needs of each individual client, working with them to craft comprehensive solutions tailored to their specific concerns and needs.
Prior to joining DUGGAN BERTSCH, Russ was a tax director and in-house counsel for one of the largest companies in the world. Before that he spent several years in private practice, counseling clients on tax, wealth planning, and business matters.
Russ earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from Simon Fraser University in Canada. He earned his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School and his Master of Laws in Taxation, with Honors, from Northwestern University School of Law.
Russ is licensed to practice in Illinois, Tennessee, and Kansas.
